Yerba mate is a traditional Argentinian drink, a herb that is prepared in gourds usually made from dried pumpkin. Latvia has too cold environment to grow this particular pumpkin successfully, so I make them out of clay! This gourd will be perfect to prepare Brazilian chimarrao.

Made in the Latvian countryside, in a place called "Vidusmeži", hand-built from dark brown clay mixed with sand, glazed with grass green food-safe glaze, polished, low-fired, bee-waxed after firing and is one of a kind.
